Future Leaders' Educational Fund
Since its establishment in September 2015, the Future Leaders’ Educational Fund has been on a mission to keep children from underprivileged homes in school — giving them the opportunity for a brighter future. In its first year, 15 pupils from classes 1 to 6 were enrolled, with a minimum of 2 new pupils welcomed every year after, from class one.
Every beneficiary is awarded a full educational scholarship until they take their BECE. The scholarship package covers it all — payment of levies, school bags, shoes, uniforms, stationery and textbooks — ensuring that no child has to leave school simply because their family cannot provide. Over the years, the company has enrolled over 70 pupils, providing these basic necessities and other required learning materials. Each academic year, new pupils are enrolled as others graduate from Junior High School. In 10 years, the fund has supported countless students, and that support doesn’t stop at BECE — we also walk with several former pupils as they transition into Senior High School and second cycle institutions.
But our commitment to education goes beyond the classroom essentials. Baatsonaa TWMA Primary and JHS has also been supported in diverse ways, with the aim of improving the quality of teaching and learning. Teacher’s tables and chairs, pupil desks, ICT equipment, science kits, stationery and other learning aids have all been donated by TAGG — because great learning requires the right environment.
The Infinity Club, a STEM club targeting pupils from Primary 4 to JHS 2, was set up with one goal in mind: to ignite a genuine interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. During Infinity Club sessions, concepts are broken down to enhance understanding, and pupils get hands-on experience through the use of kits and science experiments — turning curiosity into capability, one session at a time.
